Kudos to Kim Zetter at Motherboard/Vice for this expose.  Check out the excellent article at the link above.  Suffice it to say, the details speak for itself with the dangerous code spread through ASUS’s own tool.  The attempt to shush Kaspersky Lab after the discovery is even more horrendous.  To check if your ASUS device is affected, click the link below:
